DIETARY SERVICES
MEALS
The Dietary Department,
supervised by a professional dietary manager, is here to serve you.
Like any aspect
of treatment, your diet is an important part of your therapy. An attractive
meal is provided for you three times a day, based on your physician's
direction. You will be offered a variety of selections for balanced nutrition,
as well as for personal taste and enjoyment. If you are on a restricted
diet, our staff will do all they can to provide you with your food preferences.
During
the morning "Breakfast A La Carte" service, fresh breakfast
items are served by a hospitality assistant right when you order from
the dietary department. You can choose from a hot sandwich, fresh fruit,
muffin, hot or cold cereal, and beverage. A hospitality assistant will
also come to your room to take your menu order for lunch and dinner.
Therapeutic meal
times are 7:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Evening snacks are provided
for our diabetic patients and upon a patients request.
Our dietician
is available to provide you with instruction on your doctor ordered diet.
