Private
Care
570-268-2372
Private Care is managed
and supervised by Memorial Hospital's Vice President of Long Term Care
Services.
By providing personal
care, basic housekeeping and / or primary caregiver relief, Private Care
assists those who are dependent on others to remain in their homes as
long as it is safe and functionally feasible for them to do so. In this
way, Private Care aims to prevent, reduce or delay the need for institutionalization,
enabling the client to continue living among loved ones, friends and neighbors
in the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Private Care can also
be used to provide supplemental personal care in institutional settings.
In some cases, it may facilitate earlier hospital discharges.
Memorial Hospital
Private Care serves clients of all ages in Bradford, Sullivan and portions
of surrounding counties, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- depending on availability of staff.
