Your Partnership…It takes the generosity of the entire community to provide the philanthropic
support necessary to advance and enhance Memorial Hospital. Your donations directly impact the
programs and services, equipment and supplies, and most importantly the patients and their families
who come to the hospital for care. Every gift makes a difference. Some of our 2013 fundraising priorities are:
- Memorial Hospital Auxiliary- The Auxiliary Board consists of 21 women who devote countless
hours of their time to support the Memorial Hospital through its fundraising programs.
- Memorial Hospital Community Outreach Programming- Supports our commitment not only to
medical excellence and compassionate care but also to improving the overall health
of the Memorial Hospital service area
- Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS)- Charitable contributions will
allow the EMS department to provide exceptional emergency medical services to the communities we serve
- Memorial Hospital Foundation-Supports the necessary resources for the sustainability and
advancement of healthcare in the communities we serve.
- Memorial Hospital General Fund- Unrestricted funds to support areas of greatest need
- Memorial Hospital Hospice- Supports the operations of Memorial Hospital Hospice which
provides services to patients and their families in the end stages of life, giving
them comfort and dignity during their journey
- Memorial Hospital Nurse-Family Partnership- Supports a program for women who are having
their first baby. A specially trained nurse visits the home throughout pregnancy and
continues to visit until the baby is 2 years old
- Memorial Hospital Personal Care Home Addition and Medical Office Building Expansion Project-
Supports the establishment of the new building - expected to open in Fall of 2013!
