Towanda Area School District Employees Contribute To Breast Cancer Research The Towanda Area School District sponsored a "wear your jeans to work" donation day and collected $380 that was contributed to the Twin Tiers affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer research. Faculty members Ashleigh Selfridge, LPN, J. Andrew Morrow; Toni Lamphere, High School Principal's Secretary and Kelly Vargason, Elementary Schools Principal's Secretary planned and organized the successful jean day in conjunction with Memorial Hospital's Paint the Town Pink with Pizzazz community event. Terry Primrose, RN, Towanda School District, presented the money to Darcie Schaffer, Case Coordinator, Healthy Women Maternal and Family Health Services during a free mammogram day at Memorial Hospital.
