Hand-made Quilt Donated To
Hospice For Fundraising Raffle
Trudy Ventello, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, left, along with Renay Chapman, right, proudly
display this beautiful "Cancer Awareness and Support" quilt. Renay created and donated the lovely
quilt to help raise funds to support hospice patients and families. The quilt is displayed in the
lobby of Memorial Hospital where raffle tickets, $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00, can be purchased at the
front desk. At other times, the quilt travels around the region at various events with hospice volunteers
who sell tickets and talk about their experience as hospice volunteers. The winner will be drawn at the Memorial
Hospital Auxiliary Christmas Bazaar in December. Memorial Hospital Hospice is blessed with great community support
and is very appreciative of everyone's generosity. For more information about Memorial Hospital's Hospice, please call
Trudy Ventello at 570-268-2367 or go to www.memorialhospital.org.
