We recognize the importance of support from family and friends when you are a patient
in the hospital. However, patient care is our primary concern.
In order to enhance the quality of care, specific visiting hours and regulations
have been established. Only two visitors per patient please. This will help to ensure
the comfort and privacy of all patients.
It is the policy of Memorial Hospital to established visiting hours in order for the patient to have an adequate
opportunity to visit with persons of their choice, provided there are no restrictions on visitors, mail, telephone calls
or other forms of communication for medical or safety reasons. If there are restrictions this is explained and done
in cooperation with the patient and family.
Visitors are requested to cooperate with Hospital and Skilled Nursing Unit policies. Patients reserve the right to
terminate a visit or to refuse receiving a visitor.
For safety's sake, children are not to be left unattended at any time in the lobby or on any unit.
